Job Description:


Job Title: Video Editor (Full-time and Part-time options)

Location: Nottingham - hybrid working required.

Experience: 3-4 Years minimum

£28,000 - £31,000 a year (pro rata)

Video Editor Role

We are seeking an experienced, creative Video Editor to join our ambitious team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the Adobe Suite and a keen eye for detail to produce high-quality video content.


You will work alongside our in-house creative team to edit content for a variety of clients from different industries. You will be happy sharing creative ideas and suggesting new ways to make edits work even better. You will also be passionate about keeping up to date with the latest tech innovations and trends in video editing and motion design. Ideally, you will also be experienced in motion graphic design.

Responsibilities include:

Edit and assemble raw footage into super polished, visually appealing videos that align with clients' brand guidelines and objectives. You will also intelligently edit the footage into the right narrative for the client’s message.

Work closely with our team to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

Incorporate motion graphics, effects, and animations to enhance the overall quality and impact of videos. You will also be up for sharing your ideas in group discussions.

Keep up-to-date with industry trends and continuously discover and implement new editing technologies

Work & manage multiple projects at the same time whilst meeting deadlines without compromising quality

Be in regular contact with Project Management and Creative Director and maintain a transparent and regular communication with them.


Qualifications and requirements:

Highly proficient in the Adobe Suite. In particular, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Great understanding of post production techniques, including colour correction, audio mixing, motion graphics creation and file compression.

Ability to edit long, mid and short form content for distribution on a variety of platforms including client’s own websites, LinkedIn, Instagram & Twitter.

Have a calm and methodical approach, being able to manage multiple client priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in branding and style across all projects.

Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

A team player who is willing to go the extra mile to support clients’ best interests and project success.

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to be self-motivated, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

A portfolio/showreel showcasing previous work

Creative Degree level course is a bonus

Work Location

Hybrid working. Your time will be split across working from home and coming into our office space in Nottingham City Centre when required.
