Wanstor: Developing the brand's visual identity

We updated the brand identity for an IT solutions provider. Through unique illustrations, bespoke imagery and adaptable graphical devices.

The Brief


Wanstor design, deliver and manage award-winning IT solutions. Proud of their unrivalled customer support, proactive approach and expert levels of service, they approached Turbine Creative to develop a brand that represents their people-centric ethos.


Focussing primarily on their website to begin with, they wanted a visual style that could be implemented across the business, along with graphics to represent their key services. The aim of this project was to enhance, not overide, their existing branding. Subsequently the new graphics, colour palette, illustrations and photographics stylisation we created were all added to the Wanstor brand guidelines document ready to be rolled out across future marketing materials.

Our Response


We developed a colour palette and a graphical style that brings warmth and human interaction to the brand, whilst still maintaining a data-driven, analytical feel. By applying the treatment to Wanstor’s photography, the brand becomes unique and identifiable from other competitors. Their key services were better defined, and we devised an illustrative style that communicates their offering in each area in an engaging and approachable way.  


The Result

Throughout the project, we worked closely with their in-house marketing and design team, ensuring they were confident in implementing the new branding across further materials in future. The developed branding continues to be rolled out across Wanstor’s marketing materials, on an ongoing basis.
